In this episode, I speak with the wonderful Warwick Merry. He is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and Certified Virtual Presenter (CVP). Warwick shares how we can create the best first impression for online meetings and presentations.
For Warwick, creating the best impressions start with what he calls The Holy Trinity which consists of lighting, composition, and sound. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, you can just work with what you have.
When you have good lighting, you can stand out instead of blending in with the background, and sound great, you’ve already done the first part - getting everyone’s attention.
As the world is changing, we should also adapt instead of sticking to our old, irrelevant ways of doing things. Warwick’s practical yet valuable tips will show you how to keep your audience energetic and happy regardless of the modality you use.
